My heart is often heavy
and my mind, often full
As I struggle with the doubts
and the world’s endless pull
We know you’re always there
with every answer we seek
You’ve given us new life
and new words for us to speak
We speak the name of Jesus
over our heart and our life
His name brings us peace
in a world full of strife
The journey isn’t easy
the race, not easily won
But God so loved the world
that he gave us his Son
God gave His Son for us to live. Jesus gave His life so we could be free.
So, let us press on in pursuit of our heavenly call and let us not grow weary in doing good.
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
