Jesus held your hand as we said goodbye…

As we celebrate Kristen’s 3rd heavenly birthday, my heart is drawn back to the vision that God gave me of Jesus holding Kristen’s hand as she looked back to say goodbye. God shared this vision with me on Easter Sunday 2016, exactly two months before Jesus welcomed her into her heavenly home… into her Father’s house.

The poem at the bottom of the page came on her 1st heavenly birthday as I looked through some old pictures.

Sometimes we may struggle with who we are in this broken world but we should never doubt whose we are! Praise God for His mercy and grace.

God’s Spirit confirms in our spirit that we are His children! (Rom 8:16)

God didn’t share with me this vision because he wanted me struggle for two months before Kristen left us. He didn’t give me this vision because I was extra spiritual and deserved intimate insight into His foreknowledge. I believe He gave me this vision because I asked. I asked Him to see His heart regarding the loss of His Son for our sin. I didn’t think about it in some grand theological sense, my heart just wanted to know His heart. It was like a child asking their Father a simple question regarding something that is beyond their ability to comprehend. I asked as a child to his Father. Jesus said, come as a little child… for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven. (Mat 19:14)

God’s Word says, You don’t have, because you don’t ask or you ask with the wrong motives. (James 4:2-3)

I pray that I continue to grow in my childlike boldness to seek my Father’s heart and continue to grow in wisdom regarding my motives!

Kristen and Jesus holding hands

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
Praise God we know where you are.

Up above the world so high,
Jesus held your hand as we said goodbye.

We love you dearly little angel!
