The Broken Road

I know it’s a slight twist on the original interpretation of the song, but this song always reminded me of all the broken roads in this world that lead us to Jesus. Every story can be redeemed when we trust God and give him authority over our lives.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Prov 3:5-6)

Just like the woman at the well, we all have a story that God can redeem. And we all have a testimony regarding our encounter with Jesus.

Let God direct your steps along the broken roads and you will always arrive where he intended… In his loving arms!

“For we know that if the tent, which is our earthly home, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. … He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”

(2Cor 5:1,5-8)
