I am home now, Daddy…

You can let me go, Daddy,
I am not alone.
Jesus is here with me,
He is taking me home.

Don’t cry for me, Daddy,
You gave me a good start.
But my time here is through,
So I must now depart.

I’ll always love you, Daddy,
You taught me well.
To draw close to Jesus,
And of His story to tell.

Don’t grieve for me, Daddy,
It was my time to go.
Let hope heal your heart,
And through faith, you will know.

I am home now, Daddy,
It is beautiful up here,
I’m home with my Jesus,
There is nothing to fear.

So be strong for me, Daddy,
Stand firm in His grace.
Keep fighting the good fight,
As you finish the race.

“We can experience the reality of heaven today if we will draw close to the Father through His Son and His Spirit. His Spirit is here with us —right now! Heaven is for real and we don’t have to wait to begin experiencing its glory.”

The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, (Rom 8:16)

I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. (5) Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. (6) This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. (7) The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. (8) Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! (Ps 34:4-8)
