Seeking God

I don’t live on a mountain
Or in temples of stone
I am always with you
You are never alone

I am near to your heart
And I want you to know
Even in the darkness
Your path, I will show

My Word is a lamp
It shines bright and clear
When you search it for answers
You’ll know that I’m near

Life can be hard
It has always been
Since the rebellion of man
Led the world into sin

Draw near to my Word
And seek first my way
Then all else will follow
When you take time to pray

I’ll be with you always
From young until old
Step forth in my grace
And in your faith, be bold

John 4:21,23-24: “Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. … But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.””

John 17:17: “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”
